Israel argues that flotillas are Hamas-linked smuggling attempts, making them legitimate targets under self-defense even in international waters. As far as “safe zones,” Hamas embeds its weapons and fighters there, forcing Israel to strike despite civilian risks. From Israel’s view, it warns civilians and tries to minimize harm, while Hamas deliberately endangers them by using human shields. Stop supporting terrorists. You’re part of the issue
The flotilla has no link to Hamas, it’s trying to provide aid to civilians. They’ve been pretty clear on that, especially because it’s foreigners with no link to Hamas. With your argument against safe zones, I have to ask two main questions. Why tell civilians to go there, and then bomb that area with the knowledge that there are many civilians there? Why not use any other tactic to limit civilian casualties? Human shields is a fun argument here because *Israel has also used human shields.*
