There’s a difference between someone being impatient because someone is busy or doing something within a regular time frame and getting irritated when there is a DEADLINE(like leaving the house to get somewhere and you’re almost/already late) and they just saunter everywhere and take their sweet time

people just live their own lives…. personally for me, i can’t do high maintenance friends because i’m busy and i need to pour into myself and my own social battery sometimes as people should

This isn’t about being high maintenance though—you absolutely need to take care of yourself and your own schedule and a mature friend would hopefully understand being an adult with a busy sched. It’s inconsiderate to consistently be late or make your friends be late though, and I think that’s more what this post is about

spot on, like i have a busy life too, but when my roommates ask me to move my car so they can get out they expect me to do it immediately. yet when i ask them to move their car “yeah i will later” and they come out 20 mins later to move their car so
