to be fair most dogs have weird issues due to breeding. people always point out pugs and chihuahuas as horrible but what about german shepherds that usually get hip dysplasia or english bulldogs almost always requiring c sections due to their head being bred abnormally large or great dane’s being prone to heart issues or goat etc realistically most american dog breeding or even just animal breeding in general is fucked
