I’m Chinese and I can tell you, ppl in china would love to see white ppl dressing in Chinese clothing. I’ve also seen this white guy dressed in Mexican clothing went to Mexico and ppl loved him. The only ppl who find it offensive are the so called progressive teenagers who are brainwashed by western propaganda

That’s because they have the divided mindset enforced by capitalism. Ppl from the working class who are truly humble would love to see someone outside their culture getting to know them, even if it’s just imitating their appearance in a friendly manner. We keep seeing how people around the world are different from each other but ignoring how similar we are.

As a black girl with locs from the Caribbean, most white ppl look dirty asf with locs 😭 Like if you look good, by all means wear them. But most of them look like they don’t bathe 💀

I will say though, I have seen white people pull it off. And idc enough to be policing what people do to their hair. Also it’s not cultural appropriation or wtv for white people to wear locs. It’s just not cute on them most of the time imo.
