most hated spotify feature is updating albums and essentially making a new version of the album the only one to show up but the old one is still in your liked songs so you have to unlike it in order to not have 2/3 copies of the same song

Never thought about it. I tend to use my liked songs as a temporary place to save new music I hear before adding it to a playlist, since its the only way to save a song through carplay, so I havent run into that issue yet. I’ve just been saving my spotify wrapped every year, although that only keeps your top 100 songs that year.

like i have to go through songs i liked in TWENTY NINE TEEN (2019) and remove them. that’s devastating to me. and im sure it’s only on the pc version but it hurts me having to get rid of the memory of me listening to csh for the first time 7 years ago

this is my issue on desktop, going to an artists liked songs or your liked playlist if you’ve listened to a band for over a year there’s a decent chance they’ve reposted an album or single. then again i have over 12k liked songs so i could probably deal with some repeats

Wait same, I wait till I get to like 300 liked songs then I have a “liked songs day” where I only listen to my liked songs and sort them into playlists accordingly
