My dad (who has nothing to do with the government) told me he thought the US was way more serious than the previous Iran fakeouts Trump did bc he heard they had way more ships in place. I believed him and bought BNO. Didn’t even realize the specific implication that the Strait of Hormuz would be involved bc I’m a dumbass, I just thought war there would make oil prices go up. I wasn’t rooting for a war to happen, I was pessimistically expecting it
