Is there proof she had family working in the music industry? Also having rich family doesn’t mean you’re rich. My grandparents are landlords and my uncle’s a cop working for a prime minister. My parents are janitors and cab drivers, they don’t ask for any money. Do you think being a leftist means hating everyone making more than you?

No I don’t think that. But I think the number of people I’ve seen tearing up this 11 year old child on the internet saying she’s evil/entitled/brat bc her parents are millionaires and chappel is a victim of something here is really telling. They’d rather dogpile an 11 year old bc her parents are rich than the actual rich adult woman. And no she doesn’t have family in the music industry, but she was well off growing up and had a financially supportive family despite their differing opinions

This. Birth family isn’t always great and connected. My great uncle was an ambassador until last year (I think)— never bothered to get to know the family, check in on us, support us, none of it. But he’s happy to lick trump’s taint every chance he can.

That’s not really what a nepo baby is, though. She got her job via networking, then which anyone can do. You don’t need to have rich family or even have family/family friends in the industry. I do agree that Chappel stans are overreacting to the situation, because ultimately it was inconsequential and honestly seemed like a misunderstanding. Chappel is also a victim of a misogynistic hate-train on social media, but that can be solved easily. Growing up “rich” doesn’t erase her womanhood.
