so while climate change is bad and real, what’s actually going on here is that cameras in the first photo weren’t good at capturing light and details, so we needed to use programs to artificially boost light and color levels. the second photo is how it’s always looked.

It’s also cause the raw photo SD cards are still on the shuttle. I’d say wait till they are back on earth for higher quality photos to start popping up
