i'm in the same boat here. the hard water is killing my hair. i also wonder how i'm not yet bald, but i can definitely feel how much my hair has thinned out

yeah there's certain things in the water that cause hair loss, hair dryness, skin dryness, acne breakouts

Minerals in the water dry out your skin & hair. If your hair feels more oily, it's the water. There's probably buildup from water and products on your scalp. Your clothes aren't as clean, either. Soap works better with softened water.
