Some actual legitimate advice, instead of looking to fast food for an easy job while in college, look at a vet’s office. Many times they were hire Kennel techs, vet assistants, and receptionist, even if you don’t have experience. In my experience, the pay is better.

I don’t know if they will hire people under 18, but literally anyone over 18 should look into this. And it looks way better on a résumé. also look into things such as putt putt courses

this is a really privileged take. not everyone is able to go to college and the job market is horrible right now and most jobs are looking for people with experience now which is making it harder

I’m sorry that I commented legitimate advice when someone mentioned jobs? And as I mentioned, a lot of those places don’t require you to have experience. I had no experience and I’ve worked in Vet’s offices, many of those positions train you on the way. and you don’t have to be in College while doing it, I just said College as I’ve personally found them to be good part-time jobs. I also know that some of these forums are college only, I couldn’t remember if this one was or not.

Odds are this project was already rolling before the shutdown. Something that size takes advance planning, especially somewhere like the white house where security and thorough background checks have to be completed. Additionally, the money was donated for that project and legally cannot be used for anything other than that project, that would be fraud. As far as how the government works, once a contract is signed that money is gone which more than likely happened months ago.

I calculated it out. If all the funds for the ballroom were used for SNAP, it would be funded for about 31 hours.

The majority of people who need SNAP are children or have children you fucking ass. You think children don’t deserve food bc roughly 14% of SNAP recipients don’t have stable income? And that’s only the people who are able-bodied adults.
