It’s easier to find a man thats a virgin in their mid twenties than a woman thats a virgin as a teen. And women are WAY more likely to lie about a body count than men to make it seem like they’re more innocent. It’s gendered because it’s how people experience women.

Yes and studied have shown there is double male virgins for young adults than female virgins. Women are extremely hypergamous and dating apps have made it worse and now share the same guys doubling the amount of involuntary celibates or “incels”.
