in my head, the point is the LGBTQ community is protesting a genocide. The horrors of genocide come before rights sometimes when the world is that bad like it is in Palestine. Yes, Palestinian people may not agree with American LGBTQ lifestyles, but that doesn’t mean we can’t show our discontentment with people being senselessly murdered

I honestly had to look up what Chickens for KFC meant. Honestly I was just wanting peoples opinions.

LGBT individuals support Palestine just as straight people should because it’s the bare minimum. Guy that reposted this is weird. I understand your point. But KFC for Chickens only applies with like, Gays for Trump. Palestine inherently does not maintain any hatred nor prejudice towards LGBT individuals, its Islamic scapegoating that leads to this false RACIST belief that their “culture is against us”

Isn’t it illegal to have gay sex in Palestine though?

This is a very large generalization under Sha’ria law but in reality nobody is ever prosecuted for this. The burden of proof is so unbelievably large that like 7 people have to physically BE there and eyewitness it; if there’s any doubt whatsoever regarding the case then they legally cannot punish the person under Islamic jurisprudence

I get it but just because they need tons of proof doesn’t make it any less illegal. Why not reform it?

It’s illegal to jaywalk here. Why not reform that? Because nobody is prosecuted for it so it doesn’t matter. It sounds like you’re finding excuses to displace Islamic culture

Keep in mind: you are arguing to support a racist. There’s a reason he’s sulking and upvoting your comments while refusing to debate with me. Guy’s scared of confrontation + will never approach anyone in good faith so he has to make shit up to justify his hatred for Muslim people

You're not being very logical here, Islam as practised in Palestine and most of the Arab world is VERY conservative

I am being incredibly logical. Shari’a burdens of proof are universal regardless of the interpretation, only punishment (1 of 3 categories with increasing severity in transgression and thus punitive measure) will vary depending on how progressive the area is. You can, as a gay man, go to virtually any majority Muslim country with active Shari’a implementations and have no need to worry. You’re being illogical - you use after-the-fact rationalization to justify preformed ideas of hatred

I'm not justifying hatred that's a wild assumption

You are arguing against support for Palestine. That is, objectively, both justification and promotion of hatred.

No I'm not, and no it isn't. All I pointed out was the context of this post. Throwing around the word hatred so flippantly is dumb

Yes you are, and yes it is. There is no “context” for the post other than OP is Islamophobic. You trying to undermine this fact is inadvertently supporting the mindset and contributing to its perpetuation
