Philanthropy doesn’t work as efficiently and smoothly as you think. He probably gives millions or billions to charity for tax write offs. Fact: Less than 0.01% of Elons money is held in cash. So no, he can’t easily just give a billion dollars away. That would entail a huge sale of stock, impacting the company as a whole, which has recoil effects on the humans whose livelihoods depend on that company. Blame the government, not the billionaires. Billionaires provide for millions of ppl.
