Lowkey because I see this everywhere, but if your humor derives from bullying someone or a group then you are a problem and should work to better yourself. If your mom was fat would you make fun of her?

I know it doesn’t feel good, but I was a fat kid and I’m glad I got bullied about it. If I never had a reason to change, my health would be in serious trouble right now. We can talk all day about the “right” way to approach it, but the reality is carrying that much weight hurts you more than words do. Change is uncomfortable, so something has to make not changing even more uncomfortable or it won’t happen.

Obesity kills 25x more than bullying. I know it’s terrible, I know it’s not the right long-term approach, but if you want to weigh the consequences, there are worse outcomes than being bullied

bullying might take you before your body reaches that point though. kindness is free; there is a way to encourage someone without making them feel worthless; losing weight takes time, why should they have to feel disgusting until they reach their goals?

& as someone who has also been in this situation (down 100 pounds), trying to heal my self esteem has taken exponentially longer than losing the physical weight so food for thought lol

I didn’t say they should? That’s a separate conversation now. I agree that people who are trying to make a positive change should be encouraged and supported. But stuff like the picture in this post shouldn’t be encouraged. That’s still suicide, just slower and more painful. You’re conflating what I’m saying with an argument that anyone not in a healthy BMI range should always be bullied; that’s not my point

You’re the kind of person that can radiate kindness even through a social media post and that’s an awesome thing to give to the world

Obesity isn’t the same as being overweight

And bullying someone for being fat doesn’t lead to them losing weight. It just sounds like you’re looking for an excuse to be a prick

Tell that to the kids who k*lled themselves because of people like you. I’ve seen your comments. You are a bad person, you don’t actually care about people’s health, your using it as a crutch for being an ass because your so miserable you have to put others down to feel better about yourself
