It’s the deplorable history of this country combined with extensive efforts from white people in power from the past that established the systems of oppression towards people of color. I wish, truly, that the root of the problems in this country weren’t able to be whittled down to racism and bigotry from white people. I say this as a white man, how unfortunate that my family lineage benefited greatly from the worst forms of slavery across the globe that formed this country.
Have you ever thought that you as a white man thinking that minorities are unable to accomplish the same goals as you simply because you’re white and they’re not is underlying racism that you pawn off as “seeking justice” when in reality you truly believe that these people are beneath you and are in need of your saving as a white man.
No, because that’s not how my brain works and I have researched academically the impacts of racial bigotry. I do not think people of color are lesser than me, I recognize that there are white people that do. And honestly the way you’re phrasing this leads me to believe that you’re a racist and trying to convince me I’m racist too. I’m not. I’m only bigoted against bigots. The only acceptable groups of people to discriminate against are nazis and white supremacist
I like how you tried to flip that back on me. First of all I’m not white I wasn’t trying to convince you of anything just wanted you to sit back and reflect on what you said. I also agree with you on the nazi and white supremacy statement, but something leads me to believe that you think half the country fall into that category
