Yeah such an interesting point. I think the issue is that it’s hard to take care of such a top heavy population (so many more retired folks than working folks). If increasing technological progress (ai, robotics, smart farming…etc) was in the hands of humanists / socialists then maybe we could solve the issue but given that it is instead entrusted to the most vile capitalists I’m not super hopeful there

Yeah I really think if we had more tech advancements that helped us care for each other we’d be able to sustain so much better. Kinda odd that we really aren’t making any moves in this direction
