This isn’t insane at all. Matter of fact, any woman not willing to get a prenup should be divorced. My wife and I both agree that we NEVER plan to use it, but if life turns sour and we head that way, I’d never EVER want our divorce to rip her to shreds—she’s my best friend after all and I’d want it to be peaceful
