Hitler hasn’t been dead long enough for the time period he lived in to be considered far removed from us. Genghis khan was part of a whole different world with people who had whole different worldviews than us. The time genghis khan lived in feels almost mythical to modern people whereas we still have living people who remember hitler’s time as well as photo and video not just paintings and stories.
