There are good bagel places. Just don’t be fooled by a bodega that says deli, that’s not a place to get bagels. What neighborhood are you in? I’ll tell you where the good bagels are at.

I’m in midtown and this was mostly a rant bc when I was going downtown there was allegedly one right next to the matcha place I went to but I walked a fucking Mile in damn near every direction looking for it and I started tweaking

If you are by midtown west go to broad and Nosh on west 58th. If you make your way downtown to Chelsea go to zuckers.

I never go to the east side so I don’t have any good recs for over there :( zabars on the upper west is worth the hype. You could also go down to the lower east to the original Russ and daughter
