Looked into this: unsourced israeli data, reliance on hamas for key casualty numbers, only counting Hamas and PIJ, only including terrorists with known names. Actual headline should be: 17% of casualties were terrorists known to IDF prior to October 7th
Other points: A majority of terrorists are not known by name and Hamas data also includes friendly fire casualties as being killed by the IDF.

17% were terrorists known to the IDF, not just known to the IDF prior to October 7th, and if they aren’t known to the IDF as terrorists they should be treated as civilians, because the IDF is the one doing the killing

Cap me crazy, but I think if people are dressed up as Hamas terrorists, you don’t need to ascertain their government identity to kill them.
