i had customers at my job the other day notice my חי necklace and instead of wishing me a merry christmas, they made sure to say “happy holidays” and “happy hannukah” and that was so sweet. i’m passive aggressive when people wish me a merry christmas lol

as a little kid, I would correct literally everyone who would tell me merry Christmas and be like “no I’m Jewish”

I grew up in a pretty religiously diverse town w a lot of Hindus, Jews, Muslims, lots of different branches of Christianity, and lots of people who celebrated various lunar new years so I grew up saying “happy holidays” automatically and so did everyone else. now it kind of weirds me out how determined people are to say “merry christmas” to everyone 😂😂
