Question for the Jewish women, is it more dangerous for you to walk alone in a majority Jewish area, or would you be more fearful of being hate-crimed by someone who asks if you're Jewish in a minority Jewish area?

So feel free to answer this as well: Do you feel like you're more in danger because you're a woman? Do you feel like you're more in danger because you're Jewish — Generally speaking

Not sure about the first comparison but I feel safer probably bc I’m a woman, I mean I’ve not had any antisemitic issues wearing a Star of David across Europe, south east Asia, Australia and in the US. But I also feel like men are more likely to be violent towards other men

I started wearing the Star of David in early January. I talked to someone while traveling who said people didn’t want to hang out with him after learning he was Israeli but that’s not violent. I will say I didn’t wear it in Brunei but that’s bc sharia law applies to everyone and ChatGPT said it could be construed as trying to convert Muslims so non Muslim symbols shouldn’t be worn.
