This badass went to college when it was highly discouraged from women at the time, graduated summa cum laude with an MD, survived the Nazis by hiding in an attic where she ACTIVELY continued her research, discovered Nerve Growth Factor, won the Nobel Prize, served in the Italian Senate as a senator for life, became the first laureate to live to 100 and died at the ripe old age of 103.

highly recommend looking up bessie moses, it’s barely known that she was pretty much behind the idea of planned parenthood.
