The intentional destruction of Gaza. Killing entire families and generations. Destroying the little bit of infrastructure that existed, leveling cities. Innocent children, women, elderly, reporters, medical workers.

Not just a few million and also not good. Money being used to kill people

In a non black/white world, sometimes the correct course of action results in people dying ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

Genocide is the correct course of action? With a smirk? Interesting take…

Right…. Carpet bombing innocent women and children and restricting aid isn’t a genocide

I’m gonna need you to look up the definition of carpet bombing and genocide and get back to me

Intentional destruction of an *Ethnic Group* How many people die, how many buildings get destroyed, what infrastructure is left all have nothing to do with what a genocide is. You need an INTENT to wipe out an entire ethnic group. Did the allied forces commit genocide on Dresden?

Gaza is being systematically destroyed. That is a systematic destruction of the Palestinians which are an ethnic group. You’re also missing the part of the definition that says “in part or in whole”

Land is not an ethnic group. Again, did the allied forces commit a *genocide* on the people of Dresden

And you said “destroying Gaza” can you read your own words?

Because Gaza represents a part of the Palestinians while there’s obviously other parts. So the idea of destruction of a part of an ethnic group is why I mentioned Gaza but you’re now ignoring the definition of genocide which you so badly wanted to bring up. Nice

If you’re being charitable, you can read the works of many genocide scholars on Gaza. The Journal of Genocide Research has had various publications on genocide, Gaza, and defining genocide. Famous scholars on genocide such as Omer Bartov and Martin Shaw have written on genocide and consider Israel to be committing genocide, and they have various articles/journals/books that are relevant literature. You can also read reports by human rights organizations, lawyers, etc on it

Some scholars do, some scholars don’t, usually divided on political lines. An appeal to authority doesn’t work when such claims are contested in the academic world

Literally only contested by Israel and the US everybody else including the vast majority of genocide scholars all agree there is a genocide going on

We have had members of the Israeli government say things like “there is no separation between the murderers of women and children and the citizens of Gaza,” “Gaza won’t return to what it was before. We will eliminate everything,” and “The Gaza Strip should be flattened, and there should be one sentence for everyone there — death.”

True or false: Hostages were held in the homes of civilians. Also once again, the destruction of infrastructure in urban combat has zero to do with whether something is or isn’t a genocide. Waiting for my answer, Did the allied forces commit genocide on Dresden?

You’re not responding to what I said, and I don’t know enough specifics nor have I read any reports from genocide scholars on it to answer your question about Dresden I listed you quotes from members of Israel’s ruling government, what intend do those quotes indicate to you?

Sure let’s go: 1) not an official exact quote, but even as a paraphrase, civilians participated in the war and the attacks. They held hostages in their own homes. They came into Israel on October 7th. To state that it is not black and white between militant and civilian in Gaza is just a fact of the war. 2) Complete destruction of a city’s infrastructure in urban warfare has nothing to do with whether something is a genocide 3) Flat out not a real quote

Are you saying that every civilian in Gaza participated in the “war” and the attacks? Are you agreeing that there is “no distinction” between the civilians and Hamas?
