It’s more in line with the Japanese internment camps than concentration camps too. There’s a much more fitting comparison

The Japanese internment camps were a form of concentration camps, far less brutal than the concentration camps of the Nazis or of the British in South Africa—who invented the concentration camps—let alone obviously the Nazi death camps, but they were still concentration camps definitionally

The rhetoric Trump has used has been far more Hitleresque than the rhetoric around the Japanese internment camps too, like where he said immigrants were “poisoning the blood of the nation”
