…. What. My moms conservative synagogue had domes. Hurva Synagogue in old city Jerusalem is an orthodox synagogue with domes. Yall just making shit up now

Reform and conservative shuls explicitly tried to look like other houses of worship, because they thought it would increase the acceptance of Judaism in mainstream society. It did not work
