“If you support Israel you support apartheid and are a white supremacist.” Apparently MLK Jr was a pro-apartheid white supremacist because MLK Jr was a Zionist.

If he was alive today or even in the last few decades, support for Israel would not be consistent with his beliefs. Socialists do not support settler colonialism

The Jews/Hebrews/Israelis are the indigenous people, the Arabs are colonizers from when the Rashidun Caliphate invaded the Levant. Also, he was in support of Israel when he was alive so what exactly has made them “settler colonial” now that wasn’t the case back then? Also, socialists don’t support settler colonialism? Let’s ask the former Soviet Republics how that worked out under Russia and let’s ask Tibet how that’s working out under the PRC

He had some socialist beliefs and criticism of capitalism, such as the lack of regulation allowed for discrimination and capitalism didn’t fully address the needs of the poor, but he also had criticisms of socialism and Marxism such as they restricted people’s economic freedom and in some cases exacerbated people’s economic problems

I’m not going to argue with your anti-Arab racism, indigenous Palestinians aren’t colonizers. Learn what indigenous means. It’s always been settler colonialism but it was widely understood or studied in the West first couple decades of its existence.

Anti-Arab racism? Clearly you’ve never heard of the Rashidun Caliphate’s invasion of the Levant. That’s not racism, that’s fact. By your logical it’s racist against white people to say that they colonized the Americas and to not say they are indigenous, even though they aren’t indigenous. Smh

Racism against white people doesn’t exist and what happened in the Levant wasn’t colonization nor was it like hordes of Arabs taking over, murdering and pillaging all of its inhabitants. It was mostly an existing population being Arabized culturally, religiously and linguistically

False, racism is racial discrimination by definition and anyone can experience it regardless of race. And yes, the Caliphate did exactly what you described, the Rashidun Caliphate, made up of Arab people, invaded, murdered, waged war against and subjugated the Levantine people and forced religious and linguistic standards on them. It was not a peaceful unification of Levantine people choosing to join the Caliphate and adopt its cultural and linguistic standards

No racial discrimination is racial prejudice. Race and racism was created as a hierarchical and caste system with white on top. And no it was a land conquest. Conquering land from the Byzantine empire. Which is different than colonization and the mass murder of civilians

False, racism by definition is racial discrimination. What you’re describing is systemic racism which is a type of racism. Territorial conquest and colonization go hand-in-hand, stop trying to sugar coat and justify it. You can theoretically have a purely political territorial conquest or colonization without territorial conquest per se but what the Caliphate was the typical example of them going hand in hand invading, attacking, killing, enslaving and subjugating people
