IMO Biden thought he could walk a tightrope (probably because his advisers convinced him he could) between unlimited support for Israel and appeasing anti-war democrats. And it failed and Kamala was too cowardly to separate herself from his disastrous decisions

Biden would’ve made a public statement against it and then put zero political pressure behind the scenes, just like he lied about supporting a ceasefire Like, let’s not forget Biden is the guy who was so bloodthirsty that he horrified even then-Prime Minister Menachem Begin after the invasion of Lebanon, and Begin was the former head of the Jewish terrorist organization the Irgun

Have you read about the stuff Biden said when Israel invaded Lebanon in the 80s? Biden absolutely supported what was happening, and even some people who worked with him who were also complicit said he didn’t even seem to recognize Palestinians as human Hid public statements to the contrary were for PR and that only, he didn’t even push for a ceasefire behind the scenes like he lied saying he did
