I have a degree in ASCI which makes me SUPER curious what kind of class this was for. In my experience the only people that would say something as absolutely weird and batshit as comparing the Holocaust to animal welfare are people that don’t know a lot about the animal industry. (I don’t support animal testing but it also just felt some kind of illegal to even type “compare Holocaust to animal welfare”….. I feel super weird about this assignment)

It’s a writing about environmental science class. We were working on working on advocacy letters and this person wrote about animal testing in cosmetics. The whole letter was not well done so I wouldn’t be surprised if this person knows nothing about the animal industry. Unfortunately this guy has a bit of a history of making inappropriate historical comparisons
