The land was occupied before Hamas even existed, Hamas and the hatred that formed it did not come from nowhere, they came from years of dispossession before that point. It is a horrible organization but it is a symptom of the broader problem, who wouldn’t hate the country that destroyed their communities?

Not that simple. Arabs hated Jews before Israel was reestablished. Arabs hated Jews as soon as they entered and refused to make a deal for peace. The broader problem is antisemitism. It’s not a simple reactionary mindset.

Jews have always been there, it wasn’t about “Jews entering,” and “Arabs” did not hate Jews, this is just a blatant misreading of history. It was an opposition to Jewish Nationalism and settler colonialism, not to Jews. There was antisemitism that became more prominent as time went on in conflict but the root of it was never that

It’s not settler colonialism if Jews are the indigenous group. It was and still is about Jew hate. Jewish schools, homes, hospitals, businesses, etc were attacked. Propaganda against Jews were and are still circulated

I like a two state solution too but unfortunately Hamas and Palestinians have not accepted any invitations to a two state solution. They want the land all to themselves

It's still the best solution. But it'll only be possible with the evacuation of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the establishment of a stable, non-revanchist government in Palestine, strict borders, and oversight from the international community to ensure that neither country involves itself in the other's affairs.
