The responses are horrific, but the hearings are also a sham. It’s just a way of Republicans targeting their political opponents in a way that the blame gets placed on us and reinforces real antisemitism. This is the administration that has one of its most prominent speakers at the inaguaration do a Nazi salute, they aren’t interested in fighting antisemitism

Claiming that condemning antisemitism means Jews have too much control. Restricting people’s voices and beliefs (antisemitic ones). Israel has too much of an influence if Americans talk about antisemitism.

And not just any contract, a contract with *the pentagon* the pentagon is using an LLM that calls itself “Mekkahitler” and has the promotion of antisemitic conspiracies to back it up. They are using us as an excuse for increasingly authoritarian measures and as a scapegoat for anything the administration does that might be unpopular with their base, just like the Romans forced Jews to work as tax collectors so their subject’s animosity towards over the taxes would be displaced to Jews

Yeah the admin keeps doing horrible things in “the name of fighting antisemitism & for the Jews” despite the fact Jews aren’t asking them to do any of this. It’s just an excuse to strip away rights

I don’t like how instead of expelling students who were antisemitic, they’re just using it as a face to expel international students. The antisemitic ones should be expelled, but not international students in general.
