
Like, if you look at the main areas some of what had been some of the core Trump MAGA base—which I think in terms of elected officials is probably best exemplified by Marjorie Taylor Green—has broken with Trump on, it’s been the bombing of Iran, the Epstein Files, AIPAC, and Israel more broadly And Stephen Miller being the architect of Trump’s immigration policy and one of his main advisors makes it seem way too easy for them to scapegoat him for anything else that gets unpopular
Now I think Stephen Miller is horrible, and I don’t like the Trump administration’s handling of any of those issues—although I don’t like Greene’s approach to most of them either—but I’m just noticing it seems like for the most part the only issues they’re breaking from Trump on involve a Jewish person or Israel (until recently on the health care subsidies, but Greene ended up abandoning that to vote for the funding package just like Schumer did)
