Ireland has very very close cultural ties and affinity to Palestine, also being a country deeply affected by British colonization and partition

It has absolutely nothing to do with my Jewishness. I mentioned my bat mitzvah bc we were talking about embarrassing childhood moments which was met with a political conversation. It was out of left field and entirely inappropriate in the moment.
