I will say Jewish people have been oppressed for centuries and so visiting Israel is interesting because the whole foundation of the country is for Jews to feel safe. While ofc allowing Christian’s and Muslims to coexist. It’s quite powerful stuff.

It’s not about the government or current president or current policies. It’s about the existence of a settler colony in the first place. The idea of Jewish nationalism in historic Palestine necessarily requires either the murder or displacement of Palestinians for the settler colony to exist. 80 years ago and today. All settler colonies must be dismantled before democracy is possible. Incl the US
