Someone did go “Hey what the fuck” but not a teacher or administrator. Vasquez and Roy only found out about the bullying when another student told their parents, and those parents contacted the complainants. They met with the headmaster who promised to take action and then did nothing. When they met a second time, he allegedly told them to tell their daughter to toughen up and two days later expelled all three of their kids.

That’s what’s crazy that it was another parent and not the goddamn administration. Like it reminds me of when people raised complaints of schools taking kids to plantations and making them pick cotton. How does no one on any administration level not have the intelligence and awareness to go “hey maybe let’s not do this”

I wonder if one of the bullies had rich parents or something who the administration doesn’t want to upset, I feel like that’s why a lot of the time with this sort of thing

It’s a private school for gifted students in Herndon, VA. I’m guessing there are a lot of rich parents, including the set that was paying tuition for three kids.

Maybe a major funder or something then, their kids are almost untouchable at those schools
