One thing I don’t understand is people comparing death tolls. Acting as if one attack wasn’t bad bc the death/injury/destruction toll was smaller in comparison to something else. There’s always worse things, but ppl can be upset about one thing too.

I think a lot of people jump to looking for someone to blame on whichever side when some conflict happens, and have a hard time when they’re blaming someone also seeing the nuances and the hurt faced by everyone

Also Iran is doing very little to protect their own civilians or providing notice ahead of time of incoming attacks. Israel has the iron dome/other defense systems and puts everyone in safe rooms so of course regardless of each governments intent toward civilians the casualties are going to be different

Or people saying the death toll of the holocaust is "270k, not 6 million" meanwhile first that's still horrific, and second, those people love Hitler so much and deny the holocaust, but downplay, in their eyes, his "accomplishment" So what they're saying is their leader that killed himself couldn't even do anything close to what he wanted? Absolute clowns

I’ve seen stuff like that a lot under Jewish people’s posts. Another one is saying crap like “109 countries”
