The distribution of what features are most common is different but there is so much overlap between how Israelis and Palestinians look Remember that Kahanist who attacked an Israeli in Florida thinking he was Palestinian and then the Israeli posted on social media that he was attacked by Arabs? I’ve seen Palestinians who look almost identical to my mom we all look so similar

Well it’s thousands of years of heritage from thousands of years ago. The vast majority of Jews of course haven’t resided in Israel from around two thousand years ago when Jews were expelled from Israel by the Roman Empire until the formation of the modern state. Indigeneity and historical heritage shouldn’t justify displacing the people born, raised, and currently living in an area, however.

Jews were expelled from Jerusalem by the Roman Empire, not from the entirety of modern-day Israel nor from the rest of the Roman province of Judaea The exile of Jews from Jerusalem ended a few hundred years later, after the First Muslim Conquest of Jerusalem when the Rashidun Caliphate conquered Jerusalem from the Roman/Byzantine Empire and welcomed Jews back into the city and encouraged us to settle there
