The way my opinion on Israel changes daily because of the news or I look at the conflict from diff perspectives. Or how I am like well yes Jewish state but also boo the gov. And like idk what to think anymore. Idk what’s true and what’s false.

Not to mention there’s hundreds of millions of dollars for influence campaigns coming from Qatar and Iranian proxies like Russia China etc

This is the key. There are very few trusted unbiased news sources anymore. For me it comes down to two things: 1) does Israel still uphold the values I believe in, letting citizens make their own decisions, specifically regarding women’s right and gay rights? 2) are they actually treating non citizens or enemies worse than other nations do? Looking at Israel’s actions under a microscope and setting standards for Israel in isolation of how other country’s acts is obviously going to be myopic. IE you’re not seeing stories about every one of the 40k kids Iran killed in the last few months
