The fact that you don’t know what “next year in Jerusalem” means is sad

They probably think next year in Jerusalem means we’ll expel the Muslims or something

That’s an insane reach 💀 just keeps further diminishing your cause

What does it mean then? I think it’s pretty obvious that it directly addresses the Jewish connection to Jerusalem

Yes the Jewish CONNECTION to Jerusalem. Not entitlement to its own Jewish nation state. Anti Zionists, like those in JVP, still recognize our connection to Jerusalem. Which has nothing to do with the modern nation state of Israel. So yeah haha funny joke but it minimizes what “next year in Jerusalem” really means. It’s not a tool of modern political Zionism like you’re trying to make it be

What’s my cause?

When did I say anything about modern Israel? It has to do with Jews finally being able to live freely in Jerusalem after nearly 2000 years of restrictions by Christian and Muslim empires. And that saying is no longer some far fetched fantasy because we are finally able to live there freely and fully observe our holidays there. Im not sure why you interpret it as entitlement when that is very obviously not the case

The instant defensiveness and victimizing. I said nothing about Muslims and then you completely warped my comment to resemble what you wanted it to mean.

I was joking cause you’re obviously operating on some level of Islamophobia if this is your genuine opinion atp in time

And again what’s my cause? I don’t think instant defensiveness describes anything I’ve written in the comments. It’s rather more so supposed to offend you

Good lord the gaslighting is insane 💀 to instantly assume I’m Islamophobic when my post has absolutely nothing to do with Islam reveals much more about your internalized hatred than mine

I’m not assuming… I just know what kind of biases people like you operate on because I used to have the same biases

Again do you mind telling me what my cause is? I don’t think you know or understand what my cause is.

I wish I had the audacity of ppl like you to assume you know my “biases” without ever having a conversation with me or even knowing who i am. Assuming you understand all of my beliefs from a single yikyak thread is a level of delusion I cant even fathom

Considering your attitude towards my post and your pathetic attempt at framing me as an Islamophobe, I can assume that you belong to the JVP crowd assuming you’re even Jewish

Good assumption. And I know your biases because I’ve had this same conversation maybe at least 100 times in the past 2 1/2 years in person and online.

Jews have been able to live freely in Jerusalem again when it was conquered from the Roman/Byzantine Empire in 638 by the Rashidun caliphate and Umar revoked the Roman restriction on Jews living there…
