A lot of people who are not Jewish but have been told they are get really offended when you point out they're not Jewish

I’ve only seen it be an issue around who is included in a Minyan. Assuming that’s been true since they started requiring 10 “Jews it’s a mitzvah for”

People of Jewish ancestry, people with improper conversion, patrilinial Jews, etc
