Personally it’s evocative to me because it speaks a lot to how people see/treat Jews. When goys want something from us or see us having a specific value (I.e. entertainment) we’re held on pedestals and “defended” under this guise of modern diversity/acceptance. But when we’re facing oppression or persecution, the world becomes silent. It’s asking viewers “Yes the Simpsons make you laugh but would you save them?” With this action the answer to the question has become clear
