Op of this post is pointing out that the poster of the threads post is blaming Jewish people and trans people saying that synagogues need to be investigated. Op is pointing out the antisemitism of the threads post. Not supporting it. The shooter is not Jewish…. They are pointing out the conspiracy

It’s shitty the article misgenders the shooter but I don’t think anyone here has the intention of being transphobic. I don’t think the shooter should be misgendered but I also find the antisemitism in their manifesto and the ensuing antisemitism on threads concerning.

OP could’ve picked an article that didn’t misgender the shooter, and I think it’s a real problem to respond to something villainising and dehumanizing Jewish and trans people by sharing something that furthers the transphobia, particularly when most articles on this didn’t do that

So I posted that article link. At the time I had just googled the shooter antisemitic manifesto and only this and the nypost (which was way worse) article mentioned it at the time. I had no intention of transphobia and had only screenshotted the available text to show what was in the manifesto. It’s a shitty article but I think you are assigning blame and deflecting from the intended issue.

Oh whoops I missed that you posted it I think in the future if you share something like that you should at least be acknowledging the transphobia in the caption there, I understand you had good intent but you still amplified it uncritically

Except it looks like he was NOT trans. He had briefly identified as a trans woman but had detransitioned.
