Didn’t know not wanting to support a foreign nation with my tax dollars in order to snipe children was antisemitism

Zionism is just the belief of Jewish self determination in our ancestral homeland. Not whatever antisemetic blood libel like saying we want to snipe children or other bullshit you peddle onto it.

Antisemitic blood libel is when I don’t like my tax dollars funding this?

No it’s antisemitic because you are conflating the existence of the state of Israel with an ongoing war. You also seem to fundamentally misunderstand the defense credit Israel receives from the US. It’s antisemitic that you assume someone who believes in the existence of Israel and its continued existence also means we support death or suffering of Palestinian civilians. An assumption you have so willingly made.

I mean you’re assuming a whole lot from me saying it’s not antisemitism or blood libel to say that Israel is committing atrocities like killing 70,000 people with most being civilians and completely destroying the infrastructure in the region.

It is when you frame it as antizionism. Be against the government. Fuck bibi. Stop applying the choices of the government on Israel just existing or what Zionism actual is.

i think people call it a blood libel because accusing Zionists of supporting things like committing atrocities or sniping children on the basis of them being Zionists when Zionism in no way necessitates supporting those things (and some forms necessitate opposing them) does kind of sound like blood libel

it’s not antisemitic to say israel does horrible things. it edges into potentially antisemitic territory when you accuse zionists (a huge umbrella category with many different meanings) of supporting, liking, being inherently capable of, etc. those bad things when many are against them

also, no country is purely reducible to its worst actions so to say supporting the existence of israel = supporting its atrocities suggests there is nothing more to israel than atrocities. when for a lot of people, without minimizing the atrocities, there is a lot more
