Not upset at all. Actually I’ve been seeing an increasing push of holocaust denialism online. It’s nice to see real historical events portrayed in different mediums. History events often influence media.

George Lucas has said that a big inspiration was the Vietnam War and the empire was the US. So given that I wouldn’t be surprised if OP was right & he also used that as a reference as well.

I mean Storm troopers were based off Nazi shock troopers (Sturmtruppen). I still love Star Wars and I’m sure George Lucas had no intention of making Jews upset over basing his characters on Nazi characteristics.
