One of my best friends is from Texas, we met in college. I was the first Jew she had ever met. She thought we worshipped an armadillo because of the tv show friends 😭

Lmao. Basically two of the main characters are Jewish and one of them tries to teach his son the story of Chanukkah and he gets an armadillo costume so that there’s a mascot like Santa for the kid to be interested in. But bc my roommate knew absolutely 0 Jews she thought that we actually worshipped armadillos lol. It was pretty funny having to explain it to her

That’s crazy! In the world there are only 15 million Jews but our representation in shows are sooo odd.
