Had the wildest interaction. A Christian called me evil and satanic for being Jewish. That I was going to hell. That I need to change now. That I’m in the wrong for having a different religion. Called me a bad Jew for not following the Talmud.

Do they not realize the guy they call their lord and savior was a practicing, faithful Jewish rabbi? And that almost all of their traditions and rituals stem from Judaism, nor would exist without Judaism? Clearly not.

While to say all that and then say you should be following the Talmud?

No it’s not. Newsflash - Jesus wasn’t Christian. Christianity did not exist in his lifetime whatsoever, obviously. Jesus was a Jewish rabbi. Says so in the Bible. The last supper? What do you think that was? It was a Passover Seder. He kept Kosher and the laws of Shabbas, worshiped in synagogues, and prayed in Hebrew. These are all Jewish practices. And for a “Jesus loving Christian” to call Judaism “satanic” would be nothing more than a slap to Jesus’ face. Nuff said.

Judaism by definition doesn’t believe in the divinity of Christ, Jesus obviously did.

No he didn’t. I’m not even Christian and even I know that. Christ never once mentioned himself as the son of god or of any holy prophet. He presented himself as a rabbi and was worshipped as a Christian prophet AFTER his death and “resurrection”. Christ, by example, practiced ever since Jewish ritual, ceremony, and cultural tradition in the book because he was a Jew. There’s quite simply so doubt about it. There’s historical and theological proof.

He was literally crucified, in part, due to accusations of blasphemy (from Jewish leaders, I might add) for claiming to be the son of God.
