I wrote in the comments “Jewish people are not entitled to killing Palestinians” - how is that literally debatable at all 😭😭
If you hate all news because of the quote of one online asshole you aren’t an activist. You are just a new hater.

No you made a post justifying antisemitism because of one persons comment and now you’re doubling down. Why are you trying to gaslight people when they can read the whole thread.

that persons comment is reflective of the Israeli governments actions.

And how does that justify hate against all Jews. Or your wild accusation that I support genocide because I pointed out your justification of antisemitism. I’ll say it again. If you choose to hate all jews because of the words of some dude or the Israeli government you aren’t an antizionist. You are just a bigot.

With this straw man post they made. Justifying hate against all Jews because the words of some random Israeli they are paraphrasing.

I’m not justifying antisemitism at all. You guys are misunderstanding. I think the idf and Israeli gov thinks their actions of genocide are okay. And so many Jews support that which is problematic

No, you did justify it. Then you accused me of supporting genocide out of nowhere. It’s very clear you are here to just attack Jews and hold them accountable for your supposed crimes. I’ll keep repeating. Hating Jews because of the actions of a government or some random post isn’t activism. It’s bigotry. You making assumptions about how I feel about Israel or Palestine is bigotry. Maybe think on that.

I don’t think he’s saying he hates Jews, he’s saying that there are actions and rhetoric coming from Israeli officials and sometimes normal Jews that, regardless of whether it is wrong, has caused a lot of people who otherwise are neutral about Jewish peoples to dislike them or hate them. I don’t think it’s that crazy to say

That’s not the case here since they then attacked me for an opinion they just assumed I had. They literally made assumptions towards a Jew in some attempt to change the topic when confronted with what is clear bigotry.

And it is crazy to say. If Israel’s governments actions makes you dislike Jewish people. You are a bigot. Plane and simple. Text book definition of holding on entire group of people to the opinions of a few.

He’s not saying he dislikes Jews for the actions of the government either. He’s just acknowledging that the governments actions probably do contribute to people globally associating Jewish people with the Israeli government

I hate what the Chinese government has done to the Uyghurs. I would never in a million years say hate on Chinese people is understandable because of it. I would never say, I understand the hate on Muslims because of 9/11. People who do that are bigots. And he isn’t acknowledging it. He wrote some random Israeli said this random thing and that’s why people hate Jews. It’s a sweeping generalization based on some bullshit he paraphrased. Antisemitism is because of antisemitism.

Rooting it as a cause and effect because of Israel justifies antisemitism.

If you can’t acknowledge the genocide than you are just blind to Israeli propaganda. You can separate your love for the land and culture and from its government. The actions of the Israeli gov promote antisemitism

Here we go again. We are not talking about Israel. I am pointing out holding all Jews accountable for the actions of the government like you are now. Why do I need to have to pass your litmus test. You are making an assumption about me based on your bigotry. Antisemitism promotes antisemitism.

Saying I’m blind to propaganda. I have literally not stated an opinion on Israel one way or another. It is your internalized hate that you are projecting. Reflect on that.

The comment is not the only reason why ppl hate Jews. But it’s partially the fault of the Israelis gov mentality and actions that has caused a rise in antisemitism

No antisemitism is on the rise because people can justify their hate for a group of people because of a government. And schmucks online give them the thumbs up and go “yeah I get you.” It’s just justifying antisemitism.

Israel is an amazing place and I have never felt safer as a Jewish person. But little did I know what was going on a few feet away in Gaza or the West Bank. And how my entire Jewish education only ever focused on pro Israeli rhetoric and I think that’s a problem in the Jewish community that we don’t accept the full story of the wrongdoings of our community. Instead we are only taught how our community was oppressed which yes is true and a continuous issue.

We all agree that antisemitism is a bad thing. And I understand your point about the Uyghurs in China, and you’re correct that it would not be a valid justification to hate Chinese people. The Israeli government is kinda unique in that they claim to represent Judaism. They commonly deflect criticism as antisemitic. So they themselves very directly fuel antisemitism by their actions and statements, while simultaneously claiming they represent the Jews ™️

You are taking about criticisms of the government. That is perfectly valid. That is not what you had in your post. You had some random Israeli said this bad thing and that’s why everyone hates us. You don’t even practice what you are preaching in this comment. This is exhausting. Just a bunch of logical fallacies and multiple attempts to steer the conversation from the issue I made a point about.

This whole thread is based on op quoting my post and misrepresenting the conversation in an attempt to shift the conversation. Ive said my peace. I’ll never sit idly by while people find excuses and validation for antisemites.
