They are currently getting massacred by the Syrian military. Public executions. Public humiliations (shaving beards). The Israeli Druze are outraged and have broken through the boarder to support their Syrian counterparts. Israel has fired warning shots after telling Syria to disengage the tanks they have positioned around the Syrian Druze community.

Wasn’t there a small group of Syrian Druze communities who said “Hey can we become part of Israel please” around the end of last year? Which was astounding because often Druze are fiercely loyal to the land they live on but these guys wanted to become part of Israel
