There’s been a lot of that with hate crimes generally especially since the Jussie Smollett incident but I feel like there are more ppl who jump to that when the victims are Jews, maybe it’s because a much higher proportion of antisemitism has been dogwhistled in America than other forms of xenophobia and even people who don’t buy into most antisemitic conspiracies since so many conspiracy theories have antisemitic dogwhistles tied to them ppl subconsciously associate us with conspiracy
