There are a lot of Jews in this country there’s a similar amount to in Israel, it’s just a bigger country so we’re more spread out Unless you go to like NYC which has the second highest Jewish population of any city in the world

Somehow someway at the Conservative Synagogue I go to (in the south btw) there is like 10 lesbians. Practically every active member under the age of 35 is lgbtq+. As a lesbian who is converting to Judaism, it makes me happy to see so many lgbtq people actively involved. I was raised Catholic and while there are gay Catholics, you definitely aren’t seen as an equal member of the community.

I mean there are more Jews in NYC than there are in any city in Israel except Tel Aviv, so if that dating pool is too small for you you’re gonna have a rough time anywhere

Well they can’t just be Jewish. They also have to be the sex you like, the right age range, similar values and goals, lifestyle, and observant level. Plus it requires that you like them and they like you. It reduces the numbers a lot
